1 + FIRST LOOK: Chapter Five

Self-care becomes spiritwork when our practice reflects relationship and communication with the part of us that cries out for help and comfort, when we stop defaulting to bubble bath and allow ourselves to get curious about our hunger, fatigue, stress, and pain.

"It would be strange if a baby started crying and, instead of checking their diaper or seeing if they are hungry, the first thing we told them was to calm down. So, why do we treat ourselves this way?"

Let us know something about your experience with the Hidden Faces + Meeting the Mirror working. All depths are valid. If you tripped out and swam through visions, that's awesome! If you tripped over your flashlight and fumbled the words, that's also awesome. Babyself trips and fumbles their words a lot, too. It's part of how we grow.
